1886 Stafford Opera House Dinner Theatre
Located in historic downtown, the facility is the oldest, flat-floored opera house in Texas. Built in 1886 by Robert Stafford and designed by Galveston architect Nicholas J. Clayton, the two-story building has a beautiful, copper French Mansard style roof, painted curtains surrounding the stage, and lovely floor to ceiling windows. The site offers professional dinner theater from October to June and is available for galas and wedding receptions.
